„Burek“ je komedija koja govori o ekonomskoj krizi. Na veoma originalan i duhovit način, glumci iz Grčke, Srbije, Amerike i sa Kipra, kroz priču predstavljaju svako svoj narod, što i čini srž ovog filma. U svemu tome, svako od tih likova upoznaje nekog novog ko mu mijenja život, a upoznaju se na porciji bureka.
